Get Saved

We are a church that will love and accept you for who you are, without changing anything. We are not about a bunch of man-made rules, but about love and acceptance. We are a place where you can come and get a message of love, inspiration, and the Word.

We are a Bible-teaching, Word, faith, and grace believing church. Our goal isn’t to tell you all the things you can’t do and have, but we would rather tell you all the things you can do and have. The Bible isn’t a book of don’ts, but a book of do’s. Our job is to help you have a great life, filled with happiness and success. God is great.

How can I be saved? Why do I need to be saved?

We are all infected with sin (Romans 3:23). We are born with sin (Psalm 51:5), and we all personally choose to sin (Ecclesiastes 7:201 John 1:8). Sin is what makes us unsaved. Sin is what separates us from God. Sin is what has us on the path to eternal destruction.

How can I be saved? Saved from what?

Because of our sin, we all deserve death (Romans 6:23). While the physical consequence of sin is physical death, that is not the only kind of death that results from sin. All sin is ultimately committed against an eternal and infinite God (Psalm 51:4). Because of that, the just penalty for our sin is also eternal and infinite. What we need to be saved from is eternal destruction (Matthew 25:46Revelation 20:15).

How can I be saved? How did God provide salvation?

Because the just penalty for sin is infinite and eternal, only God could pay the penalty, because only He is infinite and eternal. But God, in His divine nature, could not die. So God became a human being in the person of Jesus Christ. God took on human flesh, lived among us, and taught us. When the people rejected Him and His message and sought to kill Him, He willingly sacrificed Himself for us, allowing Himself to be crucified (John 10:15).

Because Jesus Christ was human, He could die; and because Jesus Christ was God, His death had an eternal and infinite value. Jesus’ death on the cross was the perfect and complete payment for our sin (1 John 2:2). He took the consequences we deserved. Jesus’ resurrection from the dead demonstrated that His death was indeed a perfectly sufficient sacrifice for sin.

Get Saved Right Now.

Simply Pray:

“Lord Jesus, I confess my sins and ask for your forgiveness. Please come into my heart as my Lord and Savior. Take complete control of my life and help me to walk in Your footsteps daily by the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for saving me and for answering my prayer. Amen.”

Ephesians 2:21-22 ESV

In whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. In Him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit.

Romans 10:9-10 NIV

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

Whether you are new here or not, God is waiting for you. Either your new journey or a return to Him.

But you, Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness. Psalms 86:15 NIV

What are your favorite attributes of God? There are four attributes of God in our verse today. God is compassionate for us, He is gracious, He is very patient with us, His love is unlimited, and most of all He is trustworthy and faithful. Here are a few more:

  • Omnipotence: God is all-powerful, having unlimited and absolute power.
  • Omniscience: God is all-knowing, possessing complete and perfect knowledge of past, present, and future events.
  • Omnipresence: God is present everywhere simultaneously, transcending space and time.
  • Eternal: God is beyond the constraints of time and eternal, existing without a beginning or end.
  • Immutable: God is unchanging and remains constant in nature and attributes.
  • Justice: God is a just and fair judge, ensuring that moral and ethical standards are upheld.
  • Mercy: Alongside justice, God is merciful, forgiving, and compassionate towards us.
  • Creator: He is our creator, responsible for bringing the universe into existence.
  • Redeemer: We are redeemed by the blood of Jesus so that we may live with Him throughout all eternity.
